In July, the production and sales of passenger vehicles were 1.729 million and 1.665 million, a decrease of 3.9% and 5.6% from the previous month, and an increase of 13.2% and 8.5% from the same period last year. Judging from the cumulative situation, from January to July, the production and sales of passenger vehicles were 9.483 million and 9.533 million, a year-on-year decrease of 17.8% and 18.4%. 6. Automobile exports fell year-on-year
In July, auto companies exported 62,000 vehicles, a month-on-month increase, and a year-on-year decrease of 23.1%. In terms of vehicle types, passenger vehicle exports were 45,000 units this month, up 1.1% month-on-month and down 25.9% year-on-year; commercial vehicle exports were 18,000 units, down 2.8% month-on-month and 14.9% year-on-year.
From January to July, auto companies exported 448,000 vehicles, a decrease of 21.2% year-on-year, and the rate of decrease was 0.3% larger than that of January-June. In terms of vehicle types, the export of passenger vehicles was 333,000, a year-on-year decrease of 14.2%; the export of commercial vehicles was 115,000, a year-on-year decrease of 36.3%.
7. The market concentration of key enterprise groups is higher than the same period
From January to July, the sales of the top ten enterprise groups in automobile sales totaled 11.036 million, a year-on-year decrease of 12.3%, which was 0.4% lower than the industry decline.
